This workshop offers a journey into the heart of intimacy, where you get to experience the magic of support, both in giving and receiving. Using ropes as an extension of your arms, you’ll be introduced to a new language of connection, with a focus on the surrender rather than mastering intricate techniques.
We create a space where playfulness paves the way to profound, gentle holding, allowing emotions to surface organically. No prior experience is necessary – all you need to bring is an open heart. If you have ropes, feel free to bring them along, but it’s not a prerequisite. Embark on this adventure with us!
Shibari is a form of artistic and sensual rope bondage that originated in Japan. It involves the intricate tying and caressing of a person’s body using ropes in aesthetically pleasing and sensual patterns. It’s a dance of trust, sensuality and vulnerability. Though traditionally rooted in more erotic contexts, our workshop will approach Shibari fully clothed, emphasizing intimacy and connection.
